Luka Modric is prepared and ready to be the 2018 Ballon d'Or winner and end the decade-long dominance of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Not since Kaka in 2007 has a player outside of Messi and Ronaldo won the prestigious individual award.
Having won FIFA's ‘The Best' award earlier this year, Real Madrid ace Modric is one of the favourites to be the 2018 Ballon d'Or Winner.
An awards ceremony at the Grand Palais in Paris on Monday evening will name the best men's and women's player of the year.
