2022 WCQ: No Hiding Place For Liberia – Dosu Joseph

Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph believes there will be no hiding place for Liberia in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria will be hoping to commence its campaign on a bright note as they will face Cape Verde three days later.

In an interview with Goalballlive, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist said that Nigeria has what it takes to brush aside their Liberian counterpart at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on September 4.

“I am very optimistic that the Super Eagles will pocket the maximum point against Liberia on Saturday.

“The players know what is at stake and will do everything to ensure that they begin their campaign on a winning note.

“I really don't think Liberia will upset the Super Eagles in Lagos because the players are hungry to play in the world's biggest football showpiece.

“To be frank, there will be no hiding place for Liberia. They will definitely kiss the grace at the end of 90 minutes.”
