2022 WCQ Rohr Gives Update On Onuachu's Injury

Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu could miss tomorrow's 2022 World Cup qualifiers against the Central Africa Republic (CAR) after nursing a slight injury.

The Nigerian international who has been painting the Belgian League with goals, sustain an injury during Tuesday's evening training.

However, Rohr during a news press conference on Wednesday, said that Onuachu's injury is minor and has been mace to train separately from other Super Eagles players.

“Paul Onuachu sustained a minor injury in our training session at the hotel on Tuesday morning, so we took the decision not to risk it by allowing him trained separately from his colleagues in the evening.

“He trained separately with the physiotherapist but we are hoping he will be able to join us in full training today. Paul is an important player for us and we want him available for the game.

“It’s important to have all the players available for the two games against Central African Republic. ”
