Abia Warriors are expected to play host to Rivers United in a friendly encounter at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday while the return leg will hold at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt on Saturday.
The two teams will use the friendly games to get ready for their Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 25 scheduled for next week Wednesday.
Matches will recommence in the NPFL next week Wednesday following the FIFA 2018 World Cup time-off.
Abia Warriors who are seated in the eighth position on the table will travel to Akure where they will play Sunshine Stars.
Rivers United’s showdown against Enyimba will, however, take place at a later date with the Peoples Elephant ready to take on Ivory Coast’s Williamsville in a CAF Confederation Cup game on the same day.
