Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has revealed his satisfaction in the fact that his side will be playing Algeria in one of the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final on Sunday.
The German tactician was full of joy the moment Algeria emerged winner in last night's encounter in a quarterfinal match.
Algeria were up against Cote d'Ivoire in a match that stretched into extra time after both teams played out a one-all draw and, eventually, the game was decided via penalty shoots.
Djamel Belmadi's side proved better as they only lost one penalty shoot compared to the Ivorians who lost two. Algeria won by 4 goals to three.
“I am not worried at all that we will be meeting Algeria in the semi-final. Weare prepared for either of them. We'll beat them, that's for sure.
“Although they play a fast game, my team knows just how to stop them and make them play our game, Rohr told GoalBall.
