Gernot Rohr will be releasing the Super Eagles’ list for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Seychelles this week.
The Super Eagles Technical Adviser who is scheduled to arrive Nigeria on Monday to commence preparation for the AFCON Qualifier match against Seychelles on September 7, will be meeting with the NFF officials including the Technical department to vet the Super Eagles team list.
Nigeria are third on the table with zero points having lost their opening game against South Africa by 2-0 and would be anxious for three points in their next match.
Regular Super Eagles players like Alex Iwobi, Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Odion Ighalo, Ogenyi Onazi, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are expected to be in the squad.
One player that most Nigerians expected to see in the AFCON Qualifier match is Victor Moses, but the Chelsea winger early last week announced his retirement from the Super Eagles.
