African Football Legends to Play Charity Match In honour of Akinwunmi Ambode

Do you miss seeing some of the football stars that did Africa proud before retiring, then get set to see 21 of them in action again, as they prepare to storm Lagos next year for a charity match in honour of the outgoing governor of the State, Akinwunmi Ambode.

The match has been planned to hold at Onikan Stadium on March 15 and 26, and it will be between Naija Legends and Africa XI. While Nigerian football legends will make up the Naija Legends team, Africa XI will feature football legends from other African countries.

According to Sun News Online, George Weah, Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, Kolo Toure and Stephen Appiah are some of the stars that will feature in the match.
