This news comes as a big boost for Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr as skipper Ahmed Musa has resumed training with Al Nassr.

Ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Squirrels of Benin Republic on November 11 at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Musa has shown readiness.

The Nigeria international suffered a knee injury in Al Nassr’s 1-0 away win against Al Fateh on Friday, August 31st in the Saudi Arabian Premier League.

The injury saw the 27-year-old miss two high profile international friendly match against Ukraine and Brazil.

Al Nassr posted a photograph of Musa on their social media handle running around the pitch with a fitness coach on Tuesday night.

Musa has only made two appearances for Al Nassr after missing games against Al Shabab, Al-Saad, Al-Hazm and Al-Ahli but the Knight of Najd have been without a win since the former Kano Pillar forward sustained the knee injury.
