Allegri Advises Juve About Ronaldo After Shock Loss To Empoli

In the aftermath of Juventus’ shocking 1–0 defeat to Empoli in the Serie A on Saturday, Massimiliano Allegri has urged the supporters and every other lover of the Bianconeri to move on from the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, who turns 37 next February, reached an agreement to rejoin Manchester United on Friday after revealing to Allegri and his teams mates that he no longer intends to continue with the Old Ladies.

Shortly after the defeat to Empoli, Allegri commended the Portuguese star for his immense impact at the club in his three years stint; noting that it's imperative for the club to move on from the exit of Ronaldo.

“Cristiano spent three years at Juventus, he scored goals, which he is very good at, he’s an extraordinary player, but we cannot think about Ronaldo from now on,”

“I have a fine squad, we simply must realise that we can’t just dominate every match. We need to come together and this will help us for the future. I am optimistic, always.” Allegri told DAZN post-match.

Juve, who have drawn one and lost one in their opening two league games this season, will try to get back to winning ways after the international break.
