Real Madrid are set to put six players up for sale this summer – but Arsenal loanee Martin Odegaard isn’t among them.
The Norwegian midfielder has impressed the Gunners enough to spark speculation of a permanent deal.
But Spanish outlet Marca have reported that selling Odegaard is not part of Madrid’s plans.
Zinedine Zidane has put six players on his last to sell this summer as he looks to fund moves for PSG’s Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
And Odegaard is not on the list, with the 22-year-old regarded as an “untouchable” player – despite rumours of a falling out with the manager.
Odegaard has been placed in a favoured position buy the club.
The Spanish side are reportedly not even willing to listen to any offers, which puts the north London clubl’s hopes of a deal down.
At the top of the Bernabeu side’s sell list is Gareth Bale, Isco, Marcelo, Luka Jovic, Mariano Diaz and Alvaro Odriozola have also found themselves on the fringes of Zidane’s squad.
