Arsenal Open £10million Bid For Impressive La Liga Forward

According to Moroccan outlet, Assahifa, a formal offer has been made by Arsenal for the services of Youssef En-Nesyri of Leganes. 

Arsenal manager Unai Emery faces the business of finding a suitable back-up to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette this summer, and En-Nesyri appears like he could be just that.

Gunners will reportedly have to pay as much as £10million to secure the services of the 22-year-old and will face rivalry from Borussia Dortmund and Schalke who have also shown interest.

Emery is eyeing summer recruits after missing out on Champions League qualification.

Leganes finished 13th in La Liga last term and stunned the world in September by claiming a 2-1 victory over Barcelona.

The forward moved to Los Pepineros for a club record £5.2million from Malaga last summer and showed himself to be more than deserving of the price-tag

The Morocco international finished as the club’s top goalscorer in all competitions last season with 11 goals in 34 appearances.

Morocco national team coach Herve Renard gave En-Nesyri his international debut in a friendly match against Albania in 2016, and he has gone on to make 20 more appearances for the Atlas Lions.
