Arsenal icon Thierry Henry prevailed in a fan vote that pitted him against Sergio Aguero and Alan Shearer in the final to become the Premier League’s greatest-ever striker.
Football Tweet ran the poll on Twitter and, after thousands of votes were cast, it was Henry who came out on top.
The Gunners hero received 52.4% of the votes in the final, ahead of former Newcastle forward Shearer (30.4%) and Man City’s Aguero (17.2%).
Players were split into three groups, with the winner of each progressing through to the final.
The former France international breezed through the first group, which also featured Didier Drogba, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Andy Cole.
In the second group, Aguero came out on top against Robin van Persie, Luis Suarez and Harry Kane.

And Shearer reached the final after receiving the most votes in a group that also had Wayne Rooney, Dennis Bergkamp and Michael Owen.
