The team, who have flown on a special Emirates plane, are due to arrive at Dubai airport at 8pm on Thursday evening.

As well as Tuesday's match, Arsenal will hold one open training session for locals to attend and will also take part in a couple of activities during their stay, including a visit to the Rashid Centre For People With Determination on Sunday.

They will also visit the palace of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, and Chairman of Al Nasr.

Some supporters have raised concerns about the timing of the trip, given the demanding fixture schedule that awaits the team once the international break is over.

With a number of senior players away with their national teams, Emery has included several youngsters in his travelling squad.
