Arsenal Suffer Serious Setback In Their Bid To Sign Jorginho

Arsenal have suffered a setback in their bid to sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, as Paris Saint-Germain have made a bid to sign the Italy international.

The Gunners have been eager to sign a new central midfielder to be the backbone of the team, and have been looking at numerous targets like Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey.

Lyon don’t want to sell Aouar and have rejected a bid of up to £32million for his services.

Atletico Madrid on the other hand have demanded £45m for Partey, and it seems Mikel Arteta’s side have all-but given up on signing him and moved on to Aouar.

However, with Lyon demanding up to £54m for their star man, Arsenal chiefs have begun looking elsewhere – Jorginho to be précised, with Chelsea open to selling him.

Arsenal will just have to make a move now or miss out on the Italy international, as PSG have made their move.
