Asisat Oshoala was inspiring on Saturday as she helped FC Barcelona Femeni to thrash Madrid Femenino 4-0 in their Primera Division league, scoring twice.
The Super Falcon captain scored in the 43rd minute in the first half and a minute after the resumption of the second half, she scored again.
Oshoala’s teammate, Jennifer Hermoso increased the scoreline to 3-0 in the 73rd minute while Aitana Bonmati made the victory emphatic by scoring the fourth goal in the 87th minute.
Oshoala, who was in action for 68 minutes before being replaced by Bonmati, has now scored in five successive games for Barcelona and has eight goals in 11 games in all competitions this season.
Her brace also saw her move into the second spot on the scoring chart with seven goals from seven league games – one behind her teammate Hermoso who scored her eighth in the contest.
