Brighton 1-1 Arsenal: Watch Goal Highlights

Sloppy Arsenal side needed more than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goal as the club were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton at the Amex this evening.

They the game well and opened the scoring in the sixth minute when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang curled home a lovely first-time finish in to the top corner following some great work from Alexandre Lacazette.

Aubameyang should have made it 2-0 but he saw his effort well saved when clean through and Arsenal rued that miss after gifting the hosts an equaliser minutes later.

Brighton broke straight from an Arsenal corner when a hopeful ball over the top wasn't dealt with by Stephan Lichtsteiner and his loose header was pounded upon by Locadia who rounded the on-rushing Berdn Leno to tap home in to an empty net for 1-1.

Arsenal struggled to get going in the second half and it was Brighton who looked the more prone to snatch a winner but the match ended 1-1 which leaves the Gunners sitting fourth in the table but Chelsea can go two points above us if they beat Watford at Vicarage Road tonight.
