Jose Mourinho has said he is looking forward to playing against Arsenal as manager of Tottenham.
The former Chelsea and Man United boss has turned things around since replacing Mauricio Pochettino as manager, winning all three matches.
The Lily Whites miraculously moved to fifth on the Premier League table following their 3-2 win over Bournemouth, recorded victories against Olympiacos in the Champions League and West Ham United in the league.
But the former Real Madrid boss will not have the opportunity to face Arsenal until April 25, 2020, in a Premier League fixture at the Tottenham Stadium.
However the Portuguese gaffer and has revealed that he is already looking forward to being involved in his first-ever North London derby.
Mourinho said: “I look forward to playing against Arsenal.
“I want to play against Arsenal. I know what it means for our fans. But with Mauricio or Emery or Freddie Ljungberg or whoever else, that’s no problem.
“I know the big ones and I know that’s a big one. Not just because Arsenal is a big club that fights for the same objectives as we do. But also I know the meaning. And I like it.”
