Super Eagles striker, Isaac Success gave a man-of-the-match performance in Watford's 3-0 win over Coventry City in the Carabao Cup.
It was the Hornets first win since the start of the new season after losing all three Premier League matches played so far.
The game also saw Nigerian U20 international Ayotomiwa Dele-Bashiru make his debut for the club after a summer move from Manchester City youth side.
Success who was handed his start of the season by Javi Garcia, impressed on the night as he out-paced his marker to provide an assist for the first goal in the 37th minute.
Senegal international Ismaila Sarr benefited from Success' cross as he did well to put the ball past Coventry goalkeeper to make it 1-0.
Success was also instrumental to Watford's second goal in the 57th minute as he turned provider yet again for Daryl Janmaat to double the advantage for the home side and make it 2-0.
Adalberto Penaranda sealed the Hornets passage into the next round of the Carabao Cup with a goal in the 69th minute as it ended 3-0 to Garcia's men.
Nigerian midfielder Dele-Bashiru was brought in with 20 minutes left to play for Sarr to make his competitive debut, but Success played the whole 90 minutes.
Watford will be guests at St James' Park to Newcastle at the weekend and both Nigerian stars will be looking to make respective appearances in the league fixture.
