Chelsea 2-1 Leicester City: Kelechi Iheanacho Makes EPL History

Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho on Tuesday night made history following Leicester City’s 2-1 loss to Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel’s men took their pound of flesh against Leicester (having lost the FA Cup title at the weekend) at Stamford Bridge, thanks to goals from Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho.

Iheanacho’s goal wasn’t enough to give the Foxes a point against the Blues.

According to OptaJoe, Iheanacho’s strike against Chelsea means the Nigerian international has now become the first player in Premier League history to score a goal on all seven days of the week within a single season in the competition.

The Super Eagles forward will now hope to lead Leicester to victory when they tackle Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in their final Premier League tie of the season.
