Despite the manager taking up a role with Red Bull as head of sports development, Chelsea could make a move for RB Leipzig head coach Ralf Rangnick.
The shrewd tactician has won a reputation as one of the more forward-thinking coaches in Europe, preferring his teams would attack than sitting back and absorb pressure.

Following the hiring of Maurizio Sarri, the Blues are now looking at recommencing the style implemented by the former Napoli manager.
The Independent reported in 2016, following the exit of Sam Allardyce that the English FA were interested in signing Rangnick on as the head coach and the 60-year old later confirmed to Four Four Two that he had interviewed for the job.
After moving from Sporting Director at RB Leipzig as head coach, he’s now on his way to becoming the head of sports development of the parent company and will work closely with Brazilian club Bragantino and New York Red Bulls.
But the Blues want to lure him with an offer to the Premier League according to the Daily Mail.
