Chelsea are almost set to clinch a stunning £102million move for Romelu Lukaku and are in talks with Inter Milan about using three players in the deal.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich and manager Thomas Tuchel want to bring the 28-year-old back to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Belgian striker has scored 64 goals in 95 matches for Inter Milan – helping Antonio Conte’s side win the Serie A title last season – and is once again a key target for Chelsea.
And according to The Times, Chelsea are hoping to reach an agreement to sign Lukaku from Inter Milan this weekend, although the Italian champions are holding out for £102m and a player.
It is claimed Spanish star Marcos Alonso and Italian defenders Emerson Palmieri and Davide Zappacosta have been discussed by the two clubs as players who could be incorporated in the Lukaku transfer.
Despite the fact the Belgium international Lukaku has developed into one of the best strikers in Europe, Chelsea hero Gianfranco Zola has questioned his former club’s pursuit of the Belgian superstar.
