Chelsea to Welcome Timeoue Bakayoko Back Because Of Transfer Ban

Timeoue Bakayoko

Timeoue Bakayoko may return to Chelsea in the summer as a result of the two-window transfer ban on the club, according to reports in Italy.

The French midfielder went on loan to AC Milan last summer following a torrid first term in Stamford Bridge.

Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla claim that Milan are expected to ask for a cut-price for Bakayoko – something Chelsea aren't willing to allow.

Chelsea are also wary of their transfer ban, imposed on them by FIFA, that will prevent them from obtaining new players for the next two windows.

Milan do want to sign Bakayoko, but they'll face difficulty in doing so if they can't come up with the full price for him.

Bakayoko has made 33 appearances for Milan in all competitions this season and has improved his form considerably.

The Blues may now want to keep Bakayoko, as they'll need a deep squad as possible to compete for trophies next season.
