Super Eagles Winger Samuel Chukwueze has undergone a groin surgery with his La Liga club Villarreal CF and announcing his recovery will depend on how he progresses.
The surgery was done by Doctor Ulrike Muschaweck in Munich, Germany, Thursday morning.
Chukwueze has been complaining of discomfort around the groin for some time now.
The Super Eagles star has scored a goal in La Liga 17 appearances this season.

Villarreal are fifth in the standings and are also in the running for the UEFA Europa League.
