Ghana coach, Bashir Hayford has named the Black Queens’ final squad for the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) which is scheduled to begin from November 17- December 1.
The squad are aiming to win the title as hosts with the tournament set to be staged at the Accra stadium and the Cape Coast Stadium.
The team includes experienced goalkeepers Patricia Mantey, Fafali Dumahisi and Nana Ama Asantewaa with Samira Suleman, Priscilla Okyere all names in the squad.
Ghana will face Algeria in the Group A opener at the Accra stadium before taking on Mali and Cameroon in subsequent group matches.
Nigeria, South Africa, Equatorial Guinea, and Zambia are in Group and will play their matches in Cape Coast.
