Super Eagles 2021 AFCON Qualifier Sierra Leone

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has finally concerned all football games involving the national teams due to the deadly coronavirus.

This was confirmed on Friday via CAF twitter handle, where they confirmed that Super Eagles 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone, FIFA U-20 women's qualifier, and 2020 AFCON women's qualifier involving the Nigerian ladies (Falcons and Falconets) have been postponed.

“@CAF_Online has finally cancelled the AFCONQ 2021 matchday 3 & 4, FIFA U20 women's world cup qualifiers this month & the Women AFCONQ 2020 initially scheduled for April.

It was earlier reported that NFF President, Amaju Pinnick said that the football body is working in synergy with the Federal Ministry of Health and Disease Control Unit to ensure that the players’ health is not under risk.
