Cristiano Ronaldo Reveals Favourite Goal Ever Scored by Him

Cristiano Ronaldo in talks with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri

Cristiano Ronaldo has so far racked up 658 goals, averaging more than one goal per match during his nine-year spell at Real Madrid.

At Real Madrid Ronaldo’s evolution as a player brought him closer to the goal, meaning he scored more tap-ins, but his catalog of goals includes strikes of all kinds.

Choosing a favorite is not easy for fans, let alone for Ronaldo himself, but the Juventus forward has managed to point at one.

Of course, it's the overhead kick against Juve in last season's Champions League where Dani Carvajal floated the ball into the penalty area and with space around him, Ronaldo saw the perfect opportunity to execute the trick he had been trying to pull off his entire career.

The home fans were in such a state of awe that many gave Ronaldo a standing ovation; something the player cites as one of the reasons he decided to join Juventus.

“It was the best goal in my career so far,” said Ronaldo when he was unveiled as a global ambassador for streaming service DAZN.

“It was an unbelievable moment.

“And, of course, when the people start to applaud me in the stadium I was like, ‘wow'.

“It surprised me a lot because this has never happened in my life, so it was an unbelievable moment.”
