Two times winners and current defending champions of the annual Dapo Abiodun Preseason tournament, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan alongside NPFL side, Kwara United have both zoomed into the final of the competition.
Ibadan based Shooting Stars confirmed their place in the final after beating fellow newcomers of the NPFL, Remo Stars on penalties.
The match had ended in a barren stalemate after regular time thus leaving the winner to be decided via shootouts.
After the first kick that ended in a draw, the shoot-out went into sudden death when Remo Stars threw away their last penalty to gift the Oluyole Warriors a place in the final.
Earlier on, Kwara United defeated Sunshine Stars 1-0 to qualify for the final.
The grand finale between Kwara United vs Shooting Stars will be played at 8am on Tuesday, October 19 2021 at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
