Manchester United have been linked with a move for former Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to make signings in the final week of the transfer window.
The 33-year-old is a free agent having left PSG earlier this summer but he is not going to come cheap when it comes to wages.
But Cavani is expected to have high demands with Spanish outlet Marca claiming previously that he wants a minimum of £120,000-a-week and a two-year contract.
Cavani has certainly had a successful career, winning six Ligue 1 titles, four French Cups and five French League Cups during his time in Paris.
The Red Devils’ priority remains Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho that it’s a deal that has dragged on and on all summer.
And Roy Keane has warned that Solskjaer could be shown the door if United have a poor season, regardless of transfers.
“If they can invest in the next week and buy one or two… if they don’t then it’s tough days ahead for United.’’
