Egypt to Host 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations

Egypt has been announced by the Confederation of African Football as the country that will host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Cameroon , who was the country that was to host the tournament initially, was stripped of staging duties in November because of slow preparations.

Egypt now has just six months to speed up preparations for the expanded 24-team finals, which kicks off in June.

It will be the fifth time Egypt, which won the tournament when it last hosted in 2006, has staged AFCON.
