Emmanuel Dennis tipped for bigger heights in the Premier League


Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis has attracted rave reviews from Watford legend Troy Deeney.

The Nigerian forward has hit a rich vein of form, scoring in his last three Premier League appearances.

The Premiership has become awash, with several Nigerians earning their keep in the league. Names like Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi are usually the first names mentioned when talks revolve around Nigerian's in the Premiership. They have carried on the legacy left behind by Nwankwo Kanu, Austin Okocha, Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Celestine Babayaro.

The Nigerian flag is flying high and has encouraged the influx of more Nigerians. Spread across teams like Watford, Southampton, Brentford and Crystal palace, it is good to see that they are doing well.

The success of these players in the Premier League is a big boost for the national team as it chases international glory. One name that has recently been making the headlines for head-turning performances is Emmanuel Dennis. The Kwara Football Academy product is enjoying a rich vein of form since he joined Watford.

Tipped for greatness

Emmanuel Dennis is gradually becoming a household name at Watford. When they hammered Manchester United 4-1, Emmanuel Dennis was at the heart of everything good that Watford did. He bagged a goal and two assists, thus receiving rave reviews.

Ismaila Sarr arrived at Vicarage Road for Β£40 million from Rennes. In a twist, Dennis has stolen the thunder from the Senegalese. The Nigerian attacker, who arrived from Club Brugge in the summer for €4 million, will be worth more now.

Making a name in the Premier League

Troy Deeney believes that Dennis can do great things at the club with his qualities.

Watford takes on Manchester City next, and Emmanuel Dennis could take his goal-scoring act to four consecutive Premier League goals.
