Erling Braut Haaland has reportedly demanded guarantees over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's future in order to complete a move to Manchester United.
Solskjaer and Ed Woodward are believed to have outlined their vision for the club to Haaland as they jetted to Salzburg for an urgent meeting last Friday.
It is reported Haaland, 19, is now more likely to choose a move to Old Trafford to reunite with his former Molde coach having received the best financial offer from the Red Devils.
But according to Norwegian outlet TV2, he has reservations about Solskjaer's future and wants assurances he will remain in charge before he will commit to United.
With his young career at an important stage, Haaland is worried about joining the Premier League club and head coach Solskjaer leaving if results do not improve.
Should Haaland be given the assurances he wants, United will be favourite for the 19-year-old signature.
A deal is said to be close, although he could return to Red Bull Salzburg on loan for the rest of the season.
