Oghenekaro Etebo made the 24-man squad for Stoke City that travel to Germany for a six-day training camp on Monday.
The Super Eagles midfielder joined the English Championship club from Portuguese side, Feirense in May.
Etebo who was granted an extended break by the Potters after featuring for Nigeria at the just concluded 2018 World Cup in Russia arrived the UK on Monday to link up with his new teammates ahead of the trip to Germany.
The midfielder was one of the standout performers for Nigeria in Russia 2018 and played in all three Super Eagles matches at the competition.
The former Warri Wolves player spent last season on loan at the Spanish club, Las Palmas.
