European Super League: Man Utd Players In Zoom Meeting War With Woodward

Manchester United's players have reportedly displayed their displeasure with the club joining the European Super League.

And they are angry with Ed Woodward after they only found out about the club's involvement in the European Super League via the media last night.

The Red Devils are one of the leading voices behind the movement which will see six of the Premier League clubs join the newly-formed event.

According to The Daily Mail, Woodward held a zoom meeting with the squad earlier today to explain himself.

“Some of the players were seriously unimpressed,” a source apparently said.

“Not only that they were left to find out by the media about what had happened but that their manager was left to face the press when the owners had concocted this.

“Woodward attempted to appease them but the response was lukewarm at best. It hasn’t gone down well with many of them.”
