Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru

Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru has debunked rumours of him agreeing to stay in Turkey beyond the expiration of his loan deal from Everton.

The Galatasaray of Turkey forward said he remains very much determined to finish the season well with the Turkish giants and remains positive of a favourable summer with parent club Everton.

A close source to the player told AOIFootball.com authoritatively that Onyekuru is happy in Turkey and will only wait till the summer before making a decision on his future.

“Nothing concrete has been decided and I can tell you authoritatively that those news are just fake news. Galatasaray are trying to buy him from Everton but no talk till the end of the season because he has other offers from European teams.

“I have no doubt about his future with Everton because they are happy with his performance and want to bring him back to England, they are just waiting on the work permit to give him final clearance to play in the League,” the source disclosed.

The 21-year-old has been subjected to series of bids from Top European clubs in recent months but remains committed to helping Galatasaray finish the season on a high as they continue their quest to retain the league title they won last season.
