Victory Moses has marked his 28th birthday with another injury, as fillers from the Chelsea camp indicates that the former Super Eagles star had to be excused from training all through this week due to a knock.
The development accounted for another absence for the Chelsea of England winger from The Blues' squad for their Europa League last group clash away to Vidi of Hungary, which coincided with his birthday and could have been an opportunity for Moses to get a special gift with the London-based team.
Although the Ex-Super Eagles forward have not enjoyed a look-in with Chelsea's matchday squads since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri as gaffer, the Italian tactician was reportedly ready to give Moses some time in the dead rubber match, only to change his mind due to the player's fitness issue.
It was gathered further that the 28-year-old was omitted from the Chelsea squad that travelled to Hungary on Wednesday afternoon, as Sarri excused him from the team's training at Cobham due to an unrevealed injury.
The winger, who was born 12th December 1990, and celebrated his 28th birthday on Friday, has been out of favour since the former Napoli coach took over from Antonio Conte in July 2018, and a departure from Stamford Bridge is in the offing for him.
Moses is already being linked with the club that shot him to the public eye, Crystal Palace and fellow-London-based strugglers, Fulham, amidst growing rumour that he could leave Chelsea in January.
