The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) says they hope to receive the list of players that will prosecute the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone before the middle of March.
A close source in the football house made this known to Goalballlive.com on Tuesday in a telephone chat, where he stated that all hands are on deck to ensure that the team qualify for the bi-annual football event.
Recall that the three-time Africa champions are top of Group L on six points after defeating the Squirrels of Benin and Crocodiles of Lesotho respectively.
The NFF source said that they are liaising with the Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr in order to ensure that the best players represent the team.
“The Nigeria Football Federation is totally committed in ensuring that the Super Eagles qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations without waiting for the last game,” the source told Goalballlive.com.
“As it is, we are expecting the Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr to submit the list of players that will prosecute the game against Sierra Leone by the beginning of March so that we can go through it.
