Gernot Rohr has added his voice to celebrations of the arrival of Kenneth Omeruo's first baby, as the Super Eagles coach believes it will make the star a better player.
While congratulating the Leganes of Spain defender on the birth of his daughter, Rohr enthused that the dark-skinned stopper will now be more matured on and off the pitch.
Rohr acknowledged that Omeruo is one of the current team's most experienced players already, having been to two editions of the World Cup and won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013, all of which the coach says makes the lad a key member of the Nigerian squad.
Rohr said he is happy with the save delivery of Omeruo's baby, as he disclosed that he had been expecting to hear the good news since Saturday, and reckoned that it was even more heartwarming when it came.
