Francis Uzoho kept a clean record as he helps Elche move just above the relegation zone in their goalless draw at home to Sporting Gijon.
The Super Eagles' goalkeeper last featured in Elche's 5-1 loss to Cadiz in November but returned to goal to help Elche to yet another crucial point after a series of key saves all through the match.
The 20-year-old's biggest test in the game came in the 74th minute when the visitors were given a penalty but the on-loan shot-stopper stood his ground as Nick Blackman fired his effort wide, much to the joy of Uzoho who has now kept three clean sheets in four Segunda division games.
Uzoho had an impressive match rating of 8.1, made five key saves, one punch and also made one key clearance to prevent a goal.
Elche are now 18th on the 22-team log with 17 points from 17 games played so far.
