Cristiano Ronaldo is currently topping Serie A's wages list with the Portuguese earning more than three times the next best-paid player in the league.
The Juventus superstar has failed to justify that premium in the early stages of his time in Turin since a £88m move from Real Madrid.
Ronaldo is goalless in three Serie A outings, though Massimiliano Allegri's side are perfect with three wins.
The 33-year-old picks up a massive €31m (£28m) after tax per year, report Gazzetta Dello Sport, roughly £538,000 per week, dwarfing his fellow players in Italy.
The next best salary is Gonzalo Higuain, who now picks up €9.5m (£8.6m) per year (just about £165,000 per week) after his move to AC Milan from Juventus.
In fact, only three non-Juventus players make up the highest paid line-up in the league. Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma (€6m/year) and Kwadwo Asamoah (€3m) of Inter.
