Two past Super Eagles stars, Edema Fuludu and Victor Ikpeba have been named chairman and vice-chairman, respectively, of Delta State Football Association.
Fuludu won his opponent in the chairmanship election with 20 votes to 4. Ikpeba got the vice-chairmanship election with 23 votes to 0 as his opponent refused to vote.
The DSFA now has a substantive chairman in Edema Fuludu who previously served as acting chairman following the resignation of erstwhile Super Eagles teammate and captain, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, midway into the office he was elected into in 2015.
Fuludu was vice-chairman throughout Okocha’s reign while Ikpeba was a board member.
