Furious Zidane To Quit Real Madrid Over Pogba

Zidane Quit Real Madrid Over Pogba

Zinedine Zidane is right now very angry and could consider quitting Real Madrid after rowing with club president Florentino Perez over the failure to land Paul Pogba, according to reports.

The 47-year-old was desperate to sign his compatriot from Manchester United.

But the move failed to materialise, with United holding firm and rejecting potential part-exchange deals involving the likes of James Rodriguez and Mariano Diaz.

This infuriated the Frenchman and according to Soccerlink, has even led to Zidane considering a summer departure.

Definitely a lot of suitors will queue up for him considering his pedigree but would most favour a return to Juventus.

But with Juve having leapfrogged Inter Milan into pole position to win the scudetto, the 1998 World Cup winner may find current incumbent Maurizio Sarri in his way for the time being.

Perez was behind Zidane in the summer and helped recruit the likes of Eden Hazard for around £100million.

Real Madrid also spent big on Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, Luka Jovic and Rodrygo.

The failure to bring in Pogba, however, has annoyed Zidane enough to consider quitting the Spanish giants.
