Belgian League side Racing Genk have reportedly reached an agreement with FC Midtjylland to sign Nigerian star Paul Onuachu this summer.
Onuachu, who won a bronze medal with the Super Eagles at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations championship in Egypt has been on the radar of the Smurfs all through this transfer window.
All Nigerian Soccer, however, reports that the striker has already signed a deal in the region of €6 million with the club.
The publication added that the move could see Onuachu's stock in Belgium rise in terms of bonuses to €7 million.
Midtjylland have retained a sell-on clause for any future sale of the 25-year-old.
Onuachu's deal is expected to become the biggest transfer involving Nigerian players in Denmark – beating the €3.3 million fee Midtjylland received for Femi Ajilore when they sold him to FC Groningen in 2008.
The Super Eagles star joined Wolves in 2012 and has scored over 70 goals in 181 appearances in all competitions.
He scored 22 goals and 6 assists in 40 games last campaign.
The Nigerian star is expected to replace Mbwana Samatta if the Tanzanian leaves the club before the close of the transfer window.
