Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has nothing to offer the Super Eagles anymore and should give way for fresh hand to handle the team, so say Chairman Senate Committee on Sport and Youth Development, Senator Obinna Ogba.
Senator Ogba disclosed this in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, shortly after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) South-east meeting held at the Salt Lake Hotel. He also advised Amaju Pinnick-led NFF board not to renew the contract of the German coach.
âIt is not a must that he must coach Nigeriaâs Super Eagle. Iâm one of those who believe that the man has finished his time and he needs to go because he doesnât have anything to offer to Nigeria football.
âSo far me, it is not the issue of everybody wanting him back but Nigerians are not the managers of the Nigeria football federation.
âYou need to find out if the managers of Nigeria football federation want him back. As a good coach, they have given him conditions. The only thing left is to know the ones he will accept and the once he will reject.
âIt is not just being a coach and winning games. Following what happened in the last World Cup, ten minutes to go a coach does not know what to do to win a match, it simply shows he is not a good coach.

ââWith that alone, I think he should leave for another coach to come in,â Ogba stated.
