Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa in a telephone conversation with GoalBall has said he believes God will decide his next club after a sensational transfer to Katsina United did not go through.
Ezenwa is a free agent after his contract with Enyimba ran out.
“I am now a free agent, my contract has ended with Enyimba,” Ezenwa told GoalBall.
“Being a national team goalkeeper I need to be consistent, I also need more playing time.”
GoalBall also learnt from the Goalie that a transfer to Katsina United crashed after he could not agree on personal terms with the NPFL club.
“Though Katsina United approached me, the contract could not see the light of the day after our negotiations,” he said.
Ezenwa reportedly insisted on a monthly salary of N700,000, while the highest earner at Katsina United is N350,000 per month, thus the club rejected him.
