Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has responded to talks of Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font wanting him to return to the club once he is elected.
The Spaniard has entered the final year of his contract at City and talks about a new deal have not started yet.
Responding to the rumours Guardiola has insisted that he is very happy at the Etihad.
“I’m incredibly happy here, delighted to be in Manchester and hopefully I can do a good job this season to stay longer,” he said when asked about the link with his former club.
With these comments it only seems a formality that Guardiola will be offered a new contract soon.

Earlier on the Spaniard said he needed to earn himself a new deal but with his performances over the years it seems very unlikely that City will decide to part ways with their manager next summer.
