Henry Onyekuru Named In Everton’s Worst Transfer List

Onyekuru Everton’s Worst Transfer List

Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru has been named in Everton’s worst transfer list of the decade, that’s according to Sports Extra.

Onyekuru joined Everton in 2017 from Belgian side Eupen for £7m but never made an appearance for the Toffees due to work permit issues, thus seeing out two season-long loan spells with Anderlecht first and Galatasaray last season.

The 22-year-old scored 16 goals in 44 appearances while at Turkish giants Galatasaray.

As per a report on British tabloid, The Mirror, the Nigerian makes the list for not featuring for Everton in two years before being sold to Ligue 1 side Monaco in the summer for £13m.

He signed a five-year deal keeping him at the Stade Louis II until summer 2024.
