Former Enyimba and Rivers United defender, Ifeanyi Anaemena scored his first goal for his new Saudi Arabian side, Al Nahda, in their 1-1 draw at All Ahkdood on Tuesday.
The Nigerian international who is known for scoring goals powered in a beautiful cross from the corner in the 73rd minute to restore parity for his side who were trailing by 1- 0.
In a chat with a Nigerian journalist after the match from his base in Saudi, the erstwhile Enyimba skipper couldn't hide the joy of scoring his first goal for Al Nadah since he joined the club Rivers United on a free following the expiration of his one year deal.
“It feels so great to get my first goal for the club”, said the elated Aneamena.
“Scoring goals as a defender has always been a part of me, I have been working on it in every training session, thank God it finally came today and I am so happy”, he concluded.
