Ighalo Wins First Career Trophy With Shanghai Shenhua

Ighalo Trophy Shanghai Shenhua

Ex-Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo was on parade for his Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua as they won the Chinese cup with a 3-1aggregate win over Shandong Luneng on Saturday.

Ighalo was placed on the bench but came in as a second-half substitution for Kim Shin-Wook in the 67th minutes and helped the team to attack for more goals.

Shin-wook scored the first goal in the 60th minutes before former AC Milan Stephan El Shaarawy added the second with nine minutes left in the game.

Qian Jiegei completes the rout with the third goal two minutes later as Shaghai Shenhua claimed the title in sensational fashion.
