Jadon Sancho: Solskjaer Sends Order To Man Utd Board for Alternatives

Jadon Sancho moving to Manchester United remains an ongoing transfer saga.

And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly sent a strong message to the club’s board, telling them to bring in an alternative should the Borussia Dortmund star prove elusive.

According to the Evening Standard, Solskjaer has sent a strong message to the Red Devils board – telling them to bring in an alternative if they fail to bring the Dortmund star to Old Trafford.

Kingsley Coman has been linked but, having scored the winner for Bayern Munich in the Champions League final, will be difficult to prise away from the German giants.

Douglas Costa is another potential alternative, though the Brazil international seems to be on the wane after finding the net just three times for Juventus last term.

Some at United rate Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele but signing the France international would be a huge gamble, especially given his torrid injury record.

And Gareth Bale would be too expensive due to his salary, with the former Tottenham star earning £15.2million annually over at Real Madrid.

United remain hopeful they can sign Sancho, 20, and are encouraged by the fact they’ve sorted agent fees with the player.

But Dortmund have long insisted the England international will be staying at the club and what ultimately happens is something only time will tell.
