Chelsea legend and former Aston Villa first-team coach, John Terry has revealed his plans towards becoming a manager after his Aston Villa Exit.
The former England international who stepped down from his position as assistant head coach to Dean Smith at Villa Park insisted that he's in no rush to venture into the managerial business at the moment.
In a chat with SkySports, the Chelsea graduate said “I’m always waiting, but the idea was to step away and spend the year with family and see what comes up,”
“You know what it’s like, we’re a month into the season I’m sure jobs will come up and I’m there and waiting and doing what I need to do in the background, but if not, I’m enjoying my time with the family.”
Terry further revealed that his intention is to become number one which is of utmost importance to him as of now.
“I love Aston Villa as a football club but I think everyone knew when I went in there I wanted to be a number one and that’s very much at the forefront as I speak.”
